Driver 2: 18-year-old male from Hudson, South Dakota, serious non-life-threatening injuries
Vehicle 2: Dirt bike

Lincoln County, S.D.- A boy died Saturday in a two-vehicle crash near Fairview, South Dakota.

Names of the people involved have not been released pending notification of family members.

Preliminary crash information two people were riding dirt bikes near the intersection of 486th Avenue and 290th Street when they collided. One of the drivers sustained fatal injuries. The second driver was taken to Sioux Falls hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing. All information released is preliminary.

The Highway Patrol is an agency of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
