Governor’s Statement On The Death Of Terry Redlin

 

PIERRE, S.D. – Gov. Dennis Daugaard issued the following statement today on the passing of Terry Redlin:

 

“Terry Redlin was an iconic South Dakota artist. For many South Dakotans, Terry’s work brought to life our fondest memories of our state’s outdoor heritage and rural roots. He has left a legacy in Watertown and throughout the nation, and Linda and I extend our deepest sympathies to the Redlin family.”

 

The Governor has requested that flags be flown at half-staff statewide on the day of Redlin’s funeral, the details of which have yet to be announced.
