Since the early 1970s, “Sherwin Linton and The Cotton Kings” have been a perennial entertainment show at the South Dakota State Fair. Linton, a native South Dakotan who is in his 61st year as a professional entertainer said, “No matter where I perform, from Minnesota to Texas, when people ask me what my favorite venue is, I always say the ‘Centennial Stage at the South Dakota State Fair.’ The fair is my homecoming each year.” (***Download Linton2 audio here***)
