PIERRE, S.D. – Gov. Dennis Daugaard has appointed Gene Williams of Interior, Michael Konechne of White Lake and Thomas Glover of Burke to the State Conservation Commission.

Williams will serve as the Farmer Area III representative; Konechne will serve as the Farmer-at-Large representative; Glover will serve as the Water Development District representative.

“These appointees bring a wealth of experiences to the Conservation Commission,” said South Dakota Secretary of Agriculture, Mike Jaspers. “Their knowledge and experiences of conservation practices have been invaluable during their past tenures.”
