State’s SBVI Division Holding Public Forum

 

PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Human Services Division of Service to the Blind and Visually Impaired (SBVI) will be holding a public forum on February 3.

 

The forum will include a discussion on the draft Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Unified State Plan and a Q&A session regarding services offered through SBVI.

 

The WIOA Unified State Plan provides valuable information about the various programs and initiatives underway including those for job seekers, students, businesses and people with disabilities.   

 

The forum will be held at the following video conference sites from 3p.m. – 5p.m. (CDT).

The mission of SBVI is to provide individualized rehabilitation services that result in optimal employment and independent living outcomes for citizens who are blind or visually impaired.
