PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota’s Department of Public Safety has released its March list of sobriety checkpoints scheduled throughout the state.

In March, there are 22 checkpoints planned in 19 counties.

Checkpoints are scheduled in the counties of: Beadle, Butte, Codington, Custer, Day, Davison, Edmunds, Hamlin, Hughes, Lake, Lawrence, Lincoln, Lyman, Minnehaha, Moody, Pennington, Stanley, Yankton and Walworth.

Both the Office of Highway Safety and the Highway Patrol are part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
