State prison inmate dies

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- A state prison inmate has died.

Inmate Clayton Creek, age 55, passed away at a Sioux Falls hospital Dec. 10 of natural causes.

Creek was serving a 9-year, 9-month sentence with 5 years suspended and a consecutive 10-year sentence with 5 years suspended at the time of his death. Both convictions were for forgery and occurred in Minnehaha County.
