Foster and Lynn Friess Donate $100,000 to Dakota Sonshine on Behalf of First Gentleman Bryon Noem

12/23/2020

PIERRE, S.D. – This week, Foster and Lynn Friess donated $100,000 to Dakota Sonshine in Sisseton on behalf of First Gentleman Bryon Noem. This is part of a $500,000 charitable donation on behalf of the entire Noem family.

“I’ve been able to work with Don and Teena Lykins at Dakota Sonshine and seen firsthand the heart they have for the Native American people and the surrounding community,” said Bryon Noem. “They are wonderful people doing God’s work, and I want to thank Foster and Lynn for helping us to show them our support.”

Dakota Sonshine is a Native American retreat and Bible camp for families and children. Their mission is “reaching the Native American people through relationship evangelism.” The donation will allow Dakota Sonshine to have the ability to finish their chapel. Bryon has volunteered there often.
