Foster and Lynn Friess Donate $100,000 to Teen Challenge on Behalf of Kennedy Noem

PIERRE, S.D. – This week, Foster and Lynn Friess donated $100,000 to Teen Challenge of the Dakotas in Brookings on behalf of Kennedy Noem. This is part of a $500,000 charitable donation on behalf of the entire Noem family.

“I first learned about Teen Challenge when I was in college in Brookings and have been impressed by their organization ever since,” said Kennedy Noem. “Being able to play a small role in blessing this group is a huge honor, and I’m incredibly thankful to Foster and Lynn for this opportunity.”

Teen Challenge of the Dakotas (TCD) is a faith-based recovery center which transforms the lives of men aged 18-years and older struggling with life-controlling problems, which often includes battling addictions, criminal activity, depression, and overall hopelessness. What makes TCD unique in recovery circles is that their donors afford them the additional time it takes to help young men discover a healthy identity and to develop a passion for their purpose in life. Through discipleship and mentorship, these men begin to find hope and healing for their damaged souls.

TCD operates under the concept that, a person with life-controlling problems can change, if that person wants to change. God’s grace and love changes hearts, and when you change a heart, you change a life.
