Governor Noem Signs Executive Order

1/7/2020

PIERRE, S.D. – Yesterday, Governor Kristi Noem signed an executive order to give flexibility as South Dakota fights the spread of COVID-19.

Executive Order 2021-01 suspends the statutory provision requiring that a meeting be held at least once per-quarter for local emergency planning committees that continued to hold public meetings, but whose meetings did not fall within four separate quarters in calendar year 2020.
