Governor Noem Signs Bills into Law

PIERRE, S.D. – Today, Governor Noem signed the following eleven bills into law:
- SB 44 authorizes, regulates, and taxes wagering on sporting events within the city limits of Deadwood.
- SB 80 revises provisions regarding the legislative redistricting process.
- SB 85 modifies the composition of the Retirement Laws Committee.
- SB 97 modifies provisions regarding the State-Tribal Relations Committee.
- SB 109 authorizes certain interstate shipments of distilled spirits.
- SB 152 authorizes counties to issue off-sale liquor licenses.
- SB 193 revises certain provisions regarding remote notarization.
- HB 1084 revises provisions regarding the duration of restrictive contracts or declarations.
- HB 1189 establishes a tribal flag display in the rotunda of the State Capitol building.
- HB 1197 requires the attorney general to be licensed to practice law in the state.
- HB 1235 provides for the platting of certain land without infrastructure requirements.
Governor Noem has signed 142 bills into law this legislative session.
