Inmate Michael Noland death
SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- State prison inmate Michael Noland has died as the result of an apparent suicide.
Noland, age 23, was found unresponsive in his cell at the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls on March 27.
Noland was serving multiple sentences, including first-degree robbery from Brookings County, eluding law enforcement from Beadle County and grand theft and possession of a controlled substance from Minnehaha County.
The Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating the death.
