Name Released In Clark County Fatal Crash
What: One-Vehicle Fatal Crash
Where: Near intersection of 171st Street and 417th Avenue
Eight miles northwest of Clark, S.D.
When: 11:46 p.m., Friday, March 26, 2021
Driver: Jordan Hamann, 20, Raymond, S.D., Fatal Injuries
Vehicle: 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante
CLARK, S.D. – A Raymond, S.D., man has been identified as the person who died Friday night in a one-vehicle crash northwest of Clark.
Preliminary crash information indicates that a 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante was westbound on 171st Avenue, near the intersection with 417th Avenue, when the driver lost control. The vehicle went into the north ditch and rolled.
Jordan Hamann, 20, was the driver. He was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
