 Bon Homme County Fatal Crash


What:    One-Vehicle Crash

Where:  South Dakota Highway 50, mile marker 370

              Two miles south of Tabor, S.D.

When:   7:40 a.m., Friday, Oct. 1, 2021


Driver: Male, 38, Fatal Injuries

Vehicle: 2002 Cadillac Seville



TABOR, S.D. – One man died early Friday morning (today) in a one-vehicle crash south of Tabor.


The name of the one person involved is not being released pending notification of family members.


Preliminary crash information indicates that a 2002 Cadillac Seville was eastbound when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled.


The 38-year-old driver was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.  He was not wearing a seat belt.


South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.


The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
